  • Helps avoid any potential gaps or overlaps in specifications

  • Many manufacturers provide specs for products in MasterFormat

Standard Spec Layout

The format has each specification divided into Divisions, Sections, and Parts. Each division is given a 6 digit number and then sections and parts are within each division.

// ARCHOVERFLOW HAS RESET

We rebuilt ArchOverflow from the ground up on our own platform. Articles are back at their same addresses. Old accounts were retired — membership is new, free, and reopening shortly, and everyone signs up fresh. Thanks for your patience while the last pieces land.
